Dear church,
Suellen and I just got back from two days away at a conference in Auburn, Maine. We are blessed and refreshed! I had the honor of participating in a panel discussion on church planting. It was so cool to be in a room packed out with people who are considering or following the call to be used by God to establish new outposts of the Kingdom of God in their community. (Thanks to those who knew about the conference and were praying for me.) We also got to spend some time with some dear friends in Maine on the way home, which was a great blessing too. The main reason I wanted to write you now, however, is to encourage you, DON'T MISS CHURCH TOMORROW! As I wrapped up my preparations this evening, I became more and more excited about the message I have to share with you tomorrow. We're continuing with the Foundations series with "What Christians Believe" about money and finances. The message is called HOW TO CURE MONEY PROBLEMS AT THE CORE. I really believe people are going to be set free tomorrow. We'll be looking at an amazing passage and uncovering astounding promises from God's Word that deal with the heart of the matter. (Plus there will be the usual excellent music, hot coffee, sweet treats, warm fellowship, and we're celebrating communion.) Don't miss it! I consider it a high honor to be your pastor.
